These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Folloow, a church membership, attendance, and pastoral-care management platform operated by ChurchCare Services Ltd ("Folloow", "we", "us"). By registering a church or using Folloow, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the church you represent ("Customer").

The service

Folloow provides tools for member directories, attendance tracking, pastoral follow-up, milestone celebrations, and member communications (email, SMS, and WhatsApp). Features and plan limits are described on our pricing page and may change as the product evolves.

Accounts

The person registering a church confirms they are authorised to act on that church's behalf and to enter congregation data into the platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

Subscription plans and billing

• Paid plans may include a free trial period, after which billing begins automatically unless cancelled.
• Subscriptions renew automatically for the selected billing cycle (monthly, quarterly, biannual, or annual) until cancelled.
• Payments are processed by Paystack or Stripe. Failed or declined payments may result in reduced access until resolved.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.
• We may change plan pricing or features with reasonable advance notice; continued use after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance.

Customer data

As between Folloow and the Customer, the church retains ownership of the congregation data it enters into the platform. The church is solely responsible for having a lawful basis and any necessary consent to collect and process that data, including data about minors, and for the accuracy of the information it enters.

Messaging and communications

Where a church uses Folloow to send SMS, WhatsApp, or email messages to its members, the church is responsible for ensuring it has the members' consent to be contacted through that channel and for complying with applicable messaging and telecommunications regulations.

AI-generated content

Certain features (such as celebration card drafting) use AI to generate suggested content based on information the church has entered. AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate or require editing — the church is responsible for reviewing content before it is sent to members.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Folloow to store or transmit unlawful content, to send unsolicited bulk messages unrelated to legitimate pastoral or church communication, to attempt to breach the security of the platform, or to use the service in a way that infringes the rights of others.

Availability and support

We aim to keep Folloow available and reliable, but the service is provided "as is" without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Planned maintenance or third-party outages (e.g. SMS or payment providers) may occasionally affect availability.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Folloow will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount paid by the Customer in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

A church may cancel its subscription at any time from the billing portal. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or unlawful use. On termination, we will retain congregation data for a reasonable period to allow export or reactivation, after which it may be deleted.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above, and continued use of Folloow after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
